2010 Great Southern Sale Concludes

The five day Melbourne Great Southern Sale concluded at Oaklands today, with a 90% clearance on the Racehorse, Yearling and Unbroken Stock section.

Overall, $387,800 was traded during today’s session.

The final day was topped by the Victorian winner and city placed Fareer (Pivotal), who was knocked down for $27,000.

The More Than Ready filly Morrego sold for $22,000.

Today’s sale brought the total gross for the week to $5,869,000.

Horses passed in this week are still available for sale via the Inglis Make an Offer service.

The sales season now returns to Sydney, where Newmarket will host the 2010 Inglis Australian Weanling & Breeding Stock Sale from June 23-25.
