The annual Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale Catalogue, featuring 529 yearlings entered in the showcase sale, is now available online.

The 2011 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale is to be held in Sydney at the Newmarket complex from April 5-7.

The sale features 36 lots from Group One winning dams- including yearlings from 9 champions- Flitter, Gee I Jane, Merlene, Private Steer, Hasna, One Under, Warning Zone, Champagne and Dowry.

43 yearlings who are half or full relations to Group One winners have also been catalogued, including relations to Desert War, Calveen, Dance Hero, Mnemosyne, Racing To Win, Currency, Colourland Supreme, Private Steer, Samantha Miss, Makybe Diva, Shocking, Nom Du Jeu, Black Caviar and Star Witness.

Encosta De Lago is the most represented sire in the sale, with 50 yearlings catalogued, including a colt out of Private Steer, the Group One AJC Doncaster Mile winner.

Redoute’s Choice has 44 yearlings entered, including progeny who are siblings to Makybe Diva, Private Steer, Samantha Miss, Polar Success, Savabeel, Rothesay, Beneteau, Amelia’s Dream and Sky Cuddle. The reigning Champion Sire of Australia is also represented by a colt out of stakes placed Park Esteem, a three-quarter sister to the Dubai World Cup winner Moon Ballad.

Fastnet Rock has 38 yearlings catalogued, while Champion Sires Flying Spur and More Than Ready have 31 and 27 respectively.

Other stallions with double figure drafts include Commands, Danehill Dancer, Dylan Thomas, Exceed And Excel, Stratum, General Nediym, Haradasun and Hussonet, while Shamardal has 9 yearlings and High Chapparral will have 8 lots on offer.

Bernardini heads the first season list with 28 catalogued, including a half-brother to dual Group One winner Star Witness.

The catalogue has an impressive tie to the Flemington straight six, with siblings to the last five Group One winners who have raced down the famous 1200m. In addition to Star Witness, there is a Casino Prince half-brother to Black Caviar, a Fastnet Rock full-brother to Wanted, a Zizou half-sister to Headway, and a Redoute’s Choice half-brother to All Silent.
