Classic Updates Keep Rolling In

This month’s Inglis Sydney Classic Yearling Sale continues to attract important updates.

The sale will be held at Newmarket over three sessions from January 23-25.

Since the catalogue went to print, no less than 47 yearlings to be offered at Classic have had siblings win.

These include siblings to Inglis Nursery winner Pane In The Glass, recent Hong Kong winner Solar Boy and Gerald Ryan’s promising three-year-old Top Drop, in addition to a Royal Academy colt from the immediate family of boom Sydney galloper Sincero.

Highlights amongst the updates include:

Lot 60 – Excellent Art-Lyrics (Bay Filly) – Half-sister to Pane In The Glass, winner of $250,000 Inglis Nursery, favourite for the $250,000 Inglis Classic at Rosehill on January 22 (and a live Golden Slipper chance)

Lot 176 – Al Maher-Racing Queen (Bay Colt) – Full brother to recent Hong Kong winner Solar Boy and half-brother to recent Queensland winner Dandy Cat

Lot 195 – Lion Heart-Rose A Slew (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to recent South African juvenile winner Soweto Slew

Lot 241 – Dane Shadow-Silky Oak (Bay Filly) – Three-quarter brother to now three time Hong Kong winner Fulfil A Wish

Lot 285 – God’s Own-The Lot (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to recent Bart Cummings winner at Canterbury Gold World

Lot 302 – Zizou-Tuscanna (Bay Filly) – Half-sister to Moonee Valley winner in December Testascana

Lot 348 – Not A Single Doubt-Adagietto (Chestnut Filly) – Half-sister to Belgietto, who won twice at Flemington in December

Lot 382 – Consolidator-Ballet Girl (Brown Filly) – Half-sister to Admiring, who since the catalogue went out has won again at Ascot WA, plus ran second in the G2 C.B. Cox Stakes

Lot 516 – Benicio-Fine Red (Bay Filly) - Half-sister to recent Randwick Boxing Day winner Top Drop & two time winner Fine Drop

Lot 572 – Snitzel-Honorifique (Bay Colt) – Half-brother to Rosehill winning stayer on the improve Gopana

Lot 294 – Royal Academy-Tongsai Bay (Bay Colt) – is the fourth living foal of half-sister to Rocket Man, who since the catalogue went out dead-heated in the G2 HKJC Cathay Pacific Jockey Club Sprint before going down by a nose in the G1 Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Sprint.

Lot 554 – Royal Academy-Guarded Love (Chestnut Colt) – fifth living foal of half-sister to dam of boom Sydney galloper Sincero
