Entries Closing for Australian Racehorse Sale

This Friday will be the last opportunity to submit entries for the 2011 Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale, to be held on Tuesday October 25 at Oaklands, Melbourne.

Download an entry form HERE or utilise the Inglis Online Entry facility.

Strategically placed between the MVRC Cox Plate and VRC Derby Day to ensure maximum exposure, the Australian Racehorse Sale is for both raced and unraced horses.

“We already have a good selection of both tried and untried gallopers entered for the sale, including an attractive, well balanced juvenile colt by Lonhro from Grange Thoroughbreds,” said Inglis Melbourne Auctioneer Simon Vivian.

By current Australian Champion sire Lonhro from stakes placed mare Golden Tulip, the two-year-old colt (pictured) would be a stand out at any horses-in-training sale.

“He’s a very athletic colt with a great walk and an outstanding temperament. We are very hopeful this colt will add to the list of stakes winners reared at Grange, such as recent Group 2 winner Shewan,” added Kylie Wood of Grange Thoroughbreds.

Other entries already received for the sale include young fillies and mares by Bel Esprit, Churchill Downs, Elusive Quality, Flying Spur and Testa Rossa, colts by Artie Schiller, Pins and Written Tycoon, in addition to a wide range of other race geldings by sires such as Anabaa, Choisir, Encosta de Lago, Galileo, Nadeem and Redoute’s Choice.

The Australian Racehorse Sale will be broadcast on Inglis Sale Day live, with Online Bidding and Make-An-Offer services available for those buyers unable to attend the Oaklands complex.
