Get Ready For Sydney In October

The catalogue is available online, the breeze up days are arranged and the Inglis travel service is standing by to assist buyers to get ready for The Star Ready2Race Sale in Sydney.

170 select entries have been catalogued for the second running of the Ready2Race Sale. This year’s sale will be held on Tuesday 7 October at Inglis’ Newmarket sales complex, Randwick.

The online catalogue is available at inglis.com.au and for download on the Inglis Sale iPad App.

“We are very pleased with the high quality catalogue assembled for our Ready2Race Sale, which is revolutionising breeze up sales in Australasia. Many of last year’s leading buyers have already tasted racetrack success with their purchases and Inglis and The Star look forward to welcoming more local, interstate and overseas guests to the sale this October,” said Mark Webster, Inglis Managing Director.

The Star Ready2Race Sale will be the only Australian breeze up sale in 2014 to offer the progeny of Snitzel, Exceed And Excel, Lonhro, Fastnet Rock, Flying Spur, Bernardini, Zabeel, Choisir, Bel Esprit, Teofilo, Wanted, Darci Brahma, Written Tycoon, All American, Reward For Effort, Hinchinbrook, Rip Van Winkle and Starspangledbanner.

There are also multiple entries by More Than Ready, Not A Single Doubt, Encosta de Lago, Magic Albert, Sebring, I Am Invincible, Nicconi, Manhattan Rain, Beneteau, Equiano, Star Witness and many more.

Leading 2YO consignors from Australia and New Zealand have heavily supported the ‘select’ concept of The Star Ready2Race Sale which is not only evident in the outstanding sires list, but increased depth in the female families of the 164 2YOs and six 3YOs catalogued this year.

Nolen Racing will offer 17 lots in the sale, including Sacred Kingdom’s 3YO brother Costakingdom for breeder Andy Calvert. Costakingdom and the other five 3YOs in the sale will all compete in official trials before being offered for sale on 7 October.

Also set to be offered at The Star Ready2Race Sale are siblings to stakes winners Empress Rock, Pheidon, Octavia, Real Stolle, Delago Bolt, Boom ‘N’ Zoom, Luvuleo, Misstrum, Wells Street, Travino, Rich Unicorn, Mohave Princess, Come Fly With Me, Excuse My French, Testascana, Canali and Pinzero.

Respected New Zealand consignors Lyndhurst Farm will bring six exciting prospects across to Sydney in October including a 2YO colt by Redoute’s Choice from Group 1 New Zealand Oaks winner Boundless.

Other stakes winning dams represented in the catalogue include Infinite Grace, Bardego, Corsaire, Dakota Sue, Dashing Donna, Langness, Lilakyn, Malagra Miss, Paris Return and Sojustrememberthis.
