THE CHAIRMAN'S SALE: Winx's half-brother

A share in Winx’s half-brother (Snitzel x Vegas Showgirl) has been put up for sale at the inaugural The Chairman’s Sale.

Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott are offering a 5% share in the colt, which was the sale-topper at the 2016 Australian Easter Yearling Sale at $2.3million.

“What a magnificent creature this young 2YO is,’’ Waterhouse said.

“He’s got height, he’s got size…he’s a very special colt.

“He’s in full training now preparing for a very successful 2YO, 3YO and hopefully many seasons to come.

“Please join us in this wonderful colt.’’

The colt will be sold in Session 1 of the sale.

The Chairman’s Sale Session I – Elite Racing Prospects – will be held on Thursday night, March 30, just prior to Day 1 of The Championships.

The Chairman’s Sale Session II – Elite Breeding Prospects – will take place on Friday night, April 7, the night after the conclusion of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
