Want to race a horse with Bart? - Get to Randwick
9th Apr 2010
Racenet - Clinton Payne - Friday, 9 April 2010
One lucky racegoer at Randwick on Saturday will win a 1/6th share in an Inglis Easter yearling purchased by master trainer Bart Cummings.
On Thursday, Cummings purchased a stunning colt by Nadeem for $220,000 and on Saturday at 2.45pm a share will be given away.
The promotion gives everyone who attends the races a chance to win a share in the horse, that will be targeted at the 2011 Golden Slipper.
“He is a big colt with a very good rein, a lovely shoulder, and he moves athletically who steps over a lot of ground when walking,” Cummings said.
“And he looks the part.”
To have a chance to be a part owner of the colt, race day patrons attending the David Jones AJC Australian Derby Day will need to cut out the entry form from a competition advertisement or download a form online at sydneyautumncarnical2010.com.au and submit their entry.
Participants must be over 18 years of age to enter.
The winner of the competition will be drawn at 2.45pm, just before the running of the Inglis Sires Produce Stakes .
