Classic Book Two And Scone Online

The catalogues for Inglis’ final two yearling sales for 2016 are now available online at inglis.com.au and on the Inglis Sales iPad App.

101 lots have been catalogued for the Classic Yearling Sale Book Two on Friday 6 May, while 206 have been selected for the HTBA Scone Yearling Sale on Sunday 15 May.

The two New South Wales sales will follow on from the Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale at Oaklands, Melbourne on 17 and 18 April.

Yankee Rose (pictured as a yearling) underlines the accessibility of top class racehorses from the Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series as the $1.4 million dollar earner was purchased from last year’s Inglis Classic Yearling Sale by Darby Racing for just $10,000.

“Yankee Rose is a once in a lifetime horse. She’s a dream-come-true filly for our owners and we can’t wait to see where she takes us,” said Scott Darby.

Highlights of the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale Book Two catalogue include reductions from Gooree Park Stud (16) and Think Big Stud (12), and yearlings by Exceed And Excel, Street Cry, High Chaparral, I Am Invincible, Lonhro and So You Think.

The catalogue of the HTBA Scone Yearling Sale is highlighted by the siblings to two Blue Diamond winners including this year's winner. Extreme Choice’s dominant victory in the $1 million contest reinforced the value to be found at an Inglis yearling sale, and his half-sister will be offered as Lot 83 from Bell River Thoroughbreds at White Park in Scone from 10.30am.

All yearlings offered during the 2016 Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series are eligible for entry into the $5 million Inglis Race Series covering their 2YO, 3YO and 4YO racing seasons. For more information or to download the nomination form, go to inglis.com.au/races
