Many yearlings in the catalogue have enjoyed updates to their pedigrees, with a slew of black type granted since the catalogue went to print. Siblings to Premier yearlings have won 14 stakes races in the last two months, and there are six yearlings looking for the most timely of updates this Saturday as their older siblings Valliano, Power Trip, Samara Dancer, Sweet Sherry, Kinetic Design and Areti line up in the Group 1 MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.

The yearling half-brother by Savabeel (Lot 149) to unbeaten Blue Diamond Prelude (f) winner Samara Dancer will feature in the Blue Riband Session that will conclude Day 1 of the sale, Sunday 28 February. In addition, Swettenham Stud will offer half-siblings to Kinetic Design (Lot 47) and Sweet Sherry (Lot 448), along with a sister to last-start winner of the Inglis Premier race Valliano (Lot 624) (pictured).

Bred and raced by Hillside Breeding and Racing, debut winner Areti will line up on Saturday while her half-sister by Americain (Lot 441) will walk through the ring at Oaklands on the third day of Inglis Premier, Tuesday 1 March. Finally, the yearling brother to Group 3 Maribyrnong Plate winner Power Trip will be offered by Maluka Thoroughbreds (Lot 653).

The first lot walks through the ring at 12noon on Sunday 28 February, however for those unable to make it to the sale, Racing.com will be broadcasting live from Oaklands Junction from 9am with the Correct Weight program preceding the day one sales preview from 11.45am. The following two mornings will also be broadcast live and uninterrupted on Racing.com, with an abbreviated live coverage throughout the afternoon between live racing.

All are welcome at Oaklands prior to the sale to complete their shortlists and inspect the 755-strong catalogue, the majority of which will be parading from 9am tomorrow.

Hard copies of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale catalogue are available from reception, or CLICK HERE to view online or download it on the Inglis Sales iPad App.

All yearlings offered at the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale are eligible to be nominated for the lucrative $5 million Inglis Race Series covering their 2YO, 3YO and 4YO racing seasons.

Online Bidding and Inglis’ Make-An-Offer services will be available on all four days of the sale; Sunday 28 February through to Wednesday 2 March 2016.
