A Snitzel filly from the draft of Arrowfield Stud topped the 2012 Inglis H.T.B.A Scone Yearling Sale, which was held on one select day at White Park in Scone on Sunday May 20.

From city winning mare Sharp Enough, the sale topping filly by Snitzel was sold to Warwick Farm trainer David Vandyke for $90,000. The striking filly (pictured) is a half-sister to stakes placed filly Intelligentsia and was offered as Lot 171 from the draft of Arrowfield Stud.

85% of Sunday’s offerings were sold for gross of $2,177,000. The sale average ended at $13,036 and median at $10,000.

Paul Perry finished the sale as the leading individual buyer after purchasing four yearlings for $110,000, including the day’s second highest priced yearling; Lot 74 a colt by Choisir from Gold Miss Digger, was purchased from the draft of Jorson Farm from Queensland for $47,000.
