Group 1 performer Land Of Plenty is the latest entrant in the inaugural The Chairman's Sale - Session I, Elite Racing Prospects.
The 3YO son of Stratum and Dancing finished third in the Group 3 CS Hayes Stakes at Flemington two starts back, before an unlucky run in the Group 1 Australian Guineas at his most recent outing.
“This is an extremely underrated racehorse,’’ trainer Grahame Begg said.
“He’s contested his past two races – most recently the Group 1 Australian Guineas – without any luck at all.
“He’s got exceptional ability and I have no doubt whatsoever that the best is yet to come for this talented son of Stratum.’’
30% of Land Of Plenty will be offered at the sale.
The Chairman’s Sale Session I – Elite Racing Prospects – will be held on Thursday night, March 30 from 5pm, just prior to Day 1 of The Championships.
The Chairman’s Sale Session II – Elite Breeding Prospects – will take place on Friday night, April 7 from 6pm, the night after the conclusion of the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.
