Two-year-olds Big Man and Genius book ended the treble, which was split by the victory of three-year-old Twodollarmuppet.

“From limited numbers through the sale ring graduates of The Star Ready2Race Sale are providing quality results at a tremendous strike rate for trainers and owners across Asia and Australia,” points out Peter Twomey, Inglis’ Asia Representative.

Details of The Star Ready2Race Sale's three consecutive winners in Singapore on Sunday are:

Big Man (Alamosa x Dr Klaire) was a $90,000 purchase by winning trainer Shane Baertschiger from the draft of Wingara Thoroughbreds at the 2014 The Star Ready2Race Sale.

“He’s a lovely and classy individual with a great turn of foot and I am sure that he will have a bright future here in Singapore,” jockey Barend Vorster said after Big Man’s three length victory.

Twodollarmuppet (Henrythenavigator x Pink Salt) was a $70,000 purchase for owner Sven Johnson from the draft of Hilton Thoroughbreds at the 2013 The Star Ready2Race Sale. The three-year-old has won three races and over S$100,000 in Singapore to date.

Genius (Onemorenomore x Gooniwiggal) rounded out the Ready2Race treble when scoring a smart win over 1100m. The two-year-old was a $34,000 purchase from Muskoka Farm’s draft at the 2014 The Star Ready2Race Sale.

“At the moment, it is still too early to tell how he will develop but I have a feeling he will make a good miler,” said trainer Leslie Khoo after Genius took his earnings past S$150,000.

Genius and Big Man are now being aimed at the S$200,000 Singapore Juvenile Championship over 1200m on Sunday 26 July 2015.
