Sale Overview
Thanks to great support from vendors, the bloodstock section of the 2010 Melbourne Great Southern Sale, has been extended to three days.
Breeding Stock (400 lots) will be sold on Wednesday May 19 & Thursday May 20.
With the sale concluding on Friday May 21, with over 120 lots of Racing Stock to go under the hammer at Oaklands.
The Great Southern Sale has proved to be very lucrative to buyers willing to back their judgement, with dam of Champion sprinter Scenic Blast a case in point.
Daughter's Charm (dam of Scenic Blast & Gilded Venom) was picked up from the Victorian sale for just $12,000, carrying subsequest G1 winner Gilded Venom. Then sent to Scenic (IRE), with the resultant foal being Scenic Blast, the daughter of Delgao has proved a shrewd investment for Durham Lodge WA.
