A bumper four-day 2015 Inglis Great Southern Sale rounded off an astronomical season of Inglis’ sales in 2015, where 3500 thoroughbreds were sold at an outstanding overall clearance of 84%.
Day Two of the 2015 Inglis Great Southern Sale saw a continuation of impressive results through to the completion of the Weanling Sessions, and a promising start to the Broodmare Session. A further 42 Platinum weanlings were sold today, taking the average for that session to $24,368 across a total of 192 Lots. 78 General weanlings were sold grossing $539,950, taking the average price for weanlings across both sessions to a record $19,329.
The 2015 Inglis Great Southern Sale concluded Day One having sold 141 weanlings at an outstanding average of $23,550, a 59% increase on the 2014 figure. Gross rose 50% to $3,320,500, and median nearly doubled from $6,000 to $11,000.
