Brooklyn Lodge Dispersal at Inglis Sydney Summer Sale

The 2012 Inglis Sydney Summer Thoroughbred Sale has been boosted by news that Brooklyn Lodge will disperse their Australian bloodstock interests at the auction on Friday 7 December.

Brooklyn Lodge have invested heavily in sending their select broodmare band to many of Australia’s top commercial stallions over the past few years and all nine of their highly credentialed broodmares will go under the hammer in Sydney.

Brooklyn Lodge’s entries include:-
Dane Vintage (by Danzero) – Half-sister to Champion Triscay. Dam of stakes winner Vintner and Group 1 placed Perfect Drop
Fine Society (by Marscay) – Group 1 winner with colt foal at foot by Dane Shadow and in foal to Snitzel
Lady Danzerann (by Danzero) – Well related mare in foal to Sebring
Mehitabel (by Tale Of The Cat) – Daughter of dual Oaks winner, in foal to I Am Invincible
Serenade Lily (by King’s Best) – Has a three-quarter-sister to Serenade Rose at foot and is in foal to Foxwedge
Stardanze (by Starcraft) – Well related four-year-old Racing And Breeding proposition
Vintage Quality (by Elusive Quality) – Young mare from family of Triscay, Demerger and Defier, in foal to Henrythenavigator
Voltdanze (by Danzero) – Three-quarter sister to Group 1 winner Dealer Principal. Being offered with a filly foal at foot by Lonhro and in foal to Sebring
Zimaretto (by Anabaa) – city performed mare in foal to Not A Single Doubt

“The three-quarter-sister to Serenade Rose is a smashing filly foal and with the mare in foal to exciting first-season sire Foxwedge there is plenty of upside with Serenade Lily, along with the other of Brooklyn’s commercial mares to be sold in Sydney,” said Inglis Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.

Brooklyn Lodge will be sending their mare’s 2011 progeny through Australia’s top select yearling sales in 2013, as they did with the 2010 progeny this year.

Serenade Lily’s current two-year-old filly by Redoute’s Choice was purchased by Paul Messara for $300,000 at Easter, Fine Society’s filly by Lonhro is now with Chris Waller, Singapore’s leading trainer Michael Freedman secured Zimaretto’s 2010 Not A Single Doubt colt, while Voltadanze’s attractive colt by Kheleyf made $80,000 at this year’s yearling sales.
