Great Southern Sale Entries Closing this Friday

Entries for the 2009 Inglis Great Southern Sale, comprising both weanling and bloodstock sections, close this Friday, March 27.
The Sale will be held at Oaklands over four days from May 18-19 (Weanlings) and May 20-21 (Bloodstock).
The Great Southern Sale attracted a substantial buying bench in 2008, with buyers representing every state in Australia, in addition to international clients, including the Philippines and Vietnam.
This sale presents vendors with their first opportunity to sell weanlings at a major Australian Sale and there have been some wonderful results over the years.
Victorian first season sires with weanlings include Danehill’s stakes winning sons Churchill Downs, Gonski and Danerich, as well as accomplished stakes winning sprinters Written Tycoon and Primus.
Group One winners Shinzig, Magnus, Hard Spun (USA) and Host (CHI), along with the highly talented stakes winning sprinter Purrealist will be represented among Victoria’s first season covering sires.
