Make Time For The Inglis HTBA Scone Yearling Sale

The time has come to scour the catalogue of the 2014 Inglis HTBA Scone Yearling Sale in search of your next stable acquisition. 210 lots have been catalogued to be offered at White Park in Scone on Sunday 18 May.

Graduates of last year’s Scone Yearling Sale include the Gerald Ryan trained Time For War (by Snitzel) which finished fourth in Saturday’s Gr.1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes off the back of a victory in the Gr.2 ATC Pago Pago Stakes. The $56,000 Scone purchase has already earned $225,000 for his connections.

The sale is conducted on Sunday following the Scone Race Club’s two-day carnival on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May.

Leading Hunter Valley breeders have again heavily supported the yearling sale such as Ambergate Farm (18 lots), Widden Stud (16), Yarraman Park Stud (15), Vinery Stud (10), Sledmere Stud (7) and Lincoln Farm (7).

A wide variety of 75 stallions are represented in the catalogue including proven sires Snitzel, Sebring, Exceed And Excel, Al Maher, Dane Shadow, Domesday, Flying Spur, Magic Albert, Mossman, Myboycharlie, Northern Meteor and Street Cry.

There are an exciting array of first and second season sires with progeny in the sale including Beneteau, Big Brown, Captain Sonador, Congrats, Dreamscape, Duporth, Hinchinbrook, I Am Invincible, Lookin at Lucky, Monaco Consul, Nicconi, Onemorenomore, Star Witness, Stryker, Tickets, Time Thief and Von Costa de Hero.

All yearlings offered at the 2014 Inglis HTBA Scone Yearling Sale will be eligible for nomination into the $5 million Inglis Race Series including the $100,000 Inglis 2YO Scone Challenge.
