June Thoroughbred Sale - Day One

Stakes winning mare, Rainbow Bubbles in foal to Encosta De Lago, topped proceedings at Oaklands today going under the hammer for $300,000. The mare was bought by Garry Mudgway on behalf of Lakeview Resources Pty Ltd, Victoria.
“We are very happy to buy a mare of this quality, especially in foal to a commercial sire such as Encosta De Lago and we are particularly pleased to be buying her here at the Inglis Melbourne sale” said Mr Mudgway.
William Inglis Director, Peter Heagney was very pleased with the first day of the thoroughbred sale, which saw increased results on last year. “The sale went well today and finished with encouraging results, I am looking forward to the sale continuing tomorrow” he said.
The sale continues tomorrow at 10.30am with another strong offering of 200 mares and six well bred stallion prospects.
