Nominations Due Monday For Caulfield $100K Bonus

The next bonus in the $2.6M Inglis Race Series for 2008 graduates goes on the line at Caulfield next Saturday, December 5, with nominations closing Monday morning.
Eligible graduates will compete for a $100,000 Bonus in the 1400m 3YO Open Handicap, which also has base prizemoney of $70,000 and a $30,000 Super Vobis Bonus.
This is the last Bonus for 2008 graduates scheduled for Victoria. The final $100,000 bonus goes on the line at Randwick on Villiers Day, December 19, before the Scone Inglis Guineas on May 14, which already boasts a guaranteed purse of over $500,000.
Meanwhile, 2009 graduates get their next chance with a $50,000 Bonus at Canberra on Sunday in the Glen Mia/St. Croix Racing Plates Inglis Bonus Series 2YO Handicap (1000m).
Eight of the final acceptances are eligible for the Bonus, with those being Travaldo, Beyond A Shadow, Mercenaire, Mounted, One More Grand, Speron D’Oro, Gosling and Milly Turncoat.
The eight eligible runners represent graduates from each of the Sydney Classic, Melbourne Premier, Australian Easter and HTBA Scone Yearling Sales.

The next Inglis Sale is the Sydney Summer Thoroughbred Sale, to be held at Newmarket next Friday, December 4.
