Regally-Related Redoute’s Filly Supplemented To Australian Racehorse Sale

A two-year-old Redoute’s Choice filly from the wonderful family of Easy Date has been supplemented to the Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale, which will be held in Melbourne this Sunday.

The Sale is scheduled to begin from 11am.

The filly, who has a full-sister among the star-studded entries for Easter 2010, is from the Sunday Silence mare Bella Sunday. This makes her a three-quarter-sister to former top two-year-old and promising young sire Not A Single Doubt, and three-quarter blood relation to last season’s dual stakes winning two-year-old Come Hither.

It is also the family of Golden Slipper and three times Group 1 winner Forensics, multiple G1 winner and outstanding sire Snippets and fellow G1 winner Rewaaya. She also possesses the same Redoute's Choice - Sunday Silence cross as El Daana, a G2 VRC Edward Manifold Stakes winner at three.

The filly, was sold for $290,000 at this year’s Australian Easter Yearling Sale, but has subsequently been repossessed by Inglis.

Her former owner placed her in work with Peter Moody, who has indicated that she is a promising filly who he would be very happy to keep in his stable.

The filly is nominated for the Inglis Race Series, with the next race for 2009 graduates being the $50,000 Bonus at Canberra on November 29, to be followed by the inaugural running of the $250,000 Inglis Nursery on Villiers Day at Randwick, December 19.

Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said the Redoute’s Choice filly added to what is shaping as a very strong catalogue.

“She is from one of the most sought after families in the southern hemisphere and the fact she has already shown ability means she will be a valuable acquisition for any prospective owner or breeder,” Webster said.

“While she will be offered for sale by Inglis, she typifies the quality of horses on offer this Sunday, following a great response to this new concept.

“Vendors have recognised the ingenuity of this sale by committing high quality horses and taking full advantage of the ability of Inglis to upload recent racetrack performances right up to sale day.

“A number of sale entries are due to run at Moonee Valley, Wangaratta and Gundagai tomorrow and Mornington on Saturday.”

Shipton Lodge will present a strong draft of both proven and unraced horses at this sale and all of their two and three-year-olds have x-rays which are available for viewing on the Inglis online repository.

Videos of breeze-ups, trials and race footage for all lots catalogued in the Select Session are now online and can be viewed on Inglis TV HERE

The catalogue page includes links to horses’ updated race or trial footage, with vision of other recent performers to be uploaded in the coming days.

The sale will be broadcast on Inglis Sale Day live, with Online Bidding and Make-An-Offer available for those buyers unable to attend the Oaklands complex.
