Sydney And Melbourne Sales Coming Up

Sydney Summer Sale This Friday

Prospective buyers are reminded that the 2013 Inglis Sydney Summer Thoroughbred Sale will be held at Newmarket this Friday 6 December.

73 lots will be offered from 11am on Friday covering both breeding and racing stock.

Highlights include Lot 26 Bail Up, a half-sister to undefeated stakes winner White Sage. Bail Up is a five-year-old winning daughter of Bel Esprit and will be offered by Baddock Bloodstock.

Broodmares with foals at foot by Duke Of Marmalade, Duporth, Ready's Image, Ad Valorem, Murtajil, Lope de Vega, Henrythenavigator and Snippetson will go under the hammer, as will mares in foal to stallions such as Your Song, Nicconi and Benfica.

Stallion prospect Malpais, a brother to successful sire Stratum, will be auctioned as Lot 27 on behalf of Reavill Farm Management (Receivers & Managers Appointed) as will Lot 29, the unbroken two-year-old three-quarter-sister to New Zealand Two Thousand Guineas winner Atlante.

Over 40 well performed, lightly raced or unraced fillies, mares, colts and geldings round out the Summer catalogue. These include siblings to Shamus Award, Albert The Fat and Dance Hero.

Melbourne December Sale Supplementary Entries Close Friday

This coming Friday is also the last day for vendors to submit Supplementary Entries for the Melbourne December Thoroughbred Sale that will be conducted at Oaklands on Friday 13 December 2013.

Inglis' Online Entry System is available for vendors to utilise. Otherwise entry forms can be downloaded from www.inglis.com.au

158 lots were entered into the main catalogue and supplementary entries already include Group 1 Royal Ascot winner Soldier's Tale.

Supplementary Entries for the Melbourne Sale close at 5pm this Friday 6 December.
