Your Chance To Buy Into A Magic Family

An investment made in 2013 was destined to pay dividends from the fall of the hammer. Damon Gabbedy’s Belmont Bloodstock Agency purchased Magic Harmony on behalf of Woodside Park Stud at the 2013 Australian Easter Broodmare Sale for $120,000.

Before the sale, her Hussonet gelding Charmed Harmony had already had 2 wins as a 3yo, but it wasn’t until last month when he notched up the first stakes win for his dam, taking out the Group 3 Sandown Stakes.

A further boost to her already delectable pedigree came on the weekend, when her Magic Albert colt Suyoof strode to victory in the Listed Secretariat Stakes at Turffontein in South Africa on Saturday.

“She was a lovely looking mare in foal to Dream Ahead, and Yarraman Park were very forthcoming about the quality of her foals to date, and they couldn’t have been more accurate,” said Murray Tillett, General Manager of Woodside Park Stud.

Magic Harmony is from the family of Group 1 Blue Diamond winner Reward For Effort and Group 1 Golden Slipper winner Overreach. Another chance to get involved with this outstanding family will be presented at the 2016 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. Woodside Park Stud will present the colt by Denman as Lot 166.

“The colt she’s produced is no different in quality to her other progeny, he is a real jump and run type of horse, a really speedy colt,” said Tillett.
