The online catalogue for this Friday’s Inglis Sydney Summer Thoroughbred Sale, featuring dispersals or reductions from Brooklyn Lodge, Cornerstone Stud and Patinack Farm, is now available at www.inglis.com.au . 183 lots covering all categories of racing and breeding stock will go under the hammer in Sydney from 11am this Friday, 7 December 2012.
Brooklyn Lodge will offer nine quality lots in their dispersal. There are also nine entries amongst the Cornerstone Stud reduction, 18 from Emerald Thoroughbreds and 56 from Patinack Farm. Broodmares set for sale at Newmarket this week include Group 1 winner Fine Society, Group 3 winners Spice Doll and Kirra Sand, Lemon Ruski (dam of Group 3 winner Real Stolle) and Holbrook Lass (dam of Group 1 winner In Top Swing and grand dam of Hallowell Belle). 48 mares will be offered with foals at foot by sires such as Lonhro, Casino Prince, Dane Shadow, Husson, Northern Meteor, Lope de Vega, Onemorenomore, Raheeb, Starcraft, Stravinsky, Stryker and Super Saver. 24 of the mares with foals at foot are also in foal from coverings this current breeding season.
The progeny of First Season Sires Reaan, Sebring and Myboycharlie have hit the ground running with winners in Australia already this season. The trio will be represented at Friday’s Sale with mares in foal to the young guns amongst the other 42 broodmares set to be offered with positive tests to services this year. Other covering sires include Beneteau, Hussonet, Mossman, Not A Single Doubt, Pluck, Star Witness, Stratum and Wanted.
There is a good selection of racehorses in the catalogue including Listed Winter Cup winner Legsman, along with city winners Fitness Fanatic, Cosmonaut and Platamone Castle. Also on offer is potential stallion Dreamt, a Redoute’s Choice half-brother to successful sire Charge Forward. Printed catalogues will be available for collection at Newmarket from lunchtime on Thursday. The sale will be broadcast on Inglis Sale Day live, with Online Bidding and Make-An-Offer available for those buyers unable to attend the Newmarket complex on Friday.
