##Friday 7th September 2012## ###Yarding 554 Change +200### An increase in numbers this month, mainly due to the dry weather saw 554 store cattle penned. Cows and calves were similar in numbers to last month's yarding. The best pen of cows and calves topped the sale at $1640 for a yard of Charolais cows and calves sold on behalf of Collins and Sons of Cobitty. A good number of pregnancy tested females were on offer, with the market easing in value to the previous month. A very good yard of Charolais cows PTIC to a Black Limousin Bull made $1120 sold on behalf of A.D. Pastoral Company of Bickley Vale. A good penning of weaner steers were on hand, with the market selling $20 to $30 easier. The best yard topped at $650 for a pen of Black Limousin cross steers sold on behalf of Mr Reg Kemister of Albion Park. A large yarding of store weaner heifers all sold to a cheaper trend with the top pen making $510 for a pen of Charolais cross heifers sold on behalf of Collins and Sons of Cobitty.
