The 2015 Inglis Autumn Thoroughbred Sale at Inglis’ Newmarket complex today achieved 100 per cent clearance rate, selling all 54 Lots that were offered through the ring. This is up on last year’s already impressive 97 per cent clearance rate.

26 mares, 14 of which had foals at foot, eight yearlings, 18 racehorses and two stallions were sold, with one in three Lots being purchased by online bidders.

“Since implementing our world-class Online Bidding Service in 2007, there has been a definite trend towards people choosing to purchase horses so conveniently,” said Inglis' National Bloodstock Director Jonathan D’Arcy.

Emirates Park offered ten quality broodmares and one race filly, the sires of which include Galileo, Danehill, Al Maher and Hussonet.

Lot 17 from the Tingirana Syndicate is multiple-stakes winning and Group 1-performing mare Tingirana, which has gone on to produce three from three winners on the track.

Sires Al Maher, Eavesdropper, Power Of Destiny, Mutawaajid and Harbour Watch were represented in-utero. Sires represented by foals at foot were Al Maher, Husson, Mutawaajid and Power of Destiny, along with young sires Uncle Mo, Harbour Watch, Pluck and Mulaazem.

Two stallions were sold, Lot 21 from the draft of Davali Thoroughbreds is Group 1 performed Brigantin (USA), who placed in both the Group 1 Royal Ascot Gold Cup and Group 1 Longchamp Prix du Cadran, and took out the Group 2 Longchamp Prix Vicomtesse Vigier.

Offered as Lot 22 was the beautifully-bred Group 2 Silver Slipper-winning stallion Shaft.
