These are displayed in PDF format and can be printed or saved to your local computer.

Online Sale Entry

You are able to add lots to The 2008 Test Sale to explore the sale entry process

The online sale facility has been designed to allow for the online entry of horses into open Inglis sales.

There are two main types of Inglis sale: Select and Mixed

Select Sales

Each horse is selected for the sale based on its pedigree rating and on conformation after one or more physical inspections by Inglis Bloodstock staff.

Eg Australian Easter Yearling Sale, Premier Yearling Sale, Classic Yearling Sale, Australian Select Weanling and Broodmare Sale

The entry fee is deducted from the sale proceeds or invoiced after the sale, if the horse is passed in.

Mixed Sales

All entries are accepted and payment is required at the time of submission of the entry.

The online entry process includes an interface to the SecurePay™ facility to make payments online using either credit card or DEFT. If payment by cheque is required, then a manual entry will need to be obtained, completed and submitted.

Completing Entry Forms

Entries are commenced from a list of Open Sales. A task list shows the progress through the entry steps. Incomplete entry details are saved at each step and can be edited and completed up until the closing date of the sale.

Each horse's details are entered by searching the Inglis Pedigree database for either a named horse, or by searching for a dam and selecting her progeny for an unnamed horse.

If a horse can not be found in the Inglis database then the entry can be submitted online, provided all the horse's mandatory details are entered. If a horse is not found in our database, we request that you please inform Inglis Bloodstock staff using the comment field in the submit page.

When submitted, an email will be forwarded to the user's email address and Inglis Bloodstock staff will be emailed, to inform that an entry has been submitted.

Entry Status

The main sale entry screen shows a summary of your incomplete entries and submitted entries.

Each incomplete entry can be viewed, edited and submitted, or it can be deleted.

Submitted entries show a summary of each horse entered into one or more sales. The details can be viewed only.

Once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted from this facility.

If you wish to withdraw a horse from a submited entry, the Withdraw a Horse Link allows the selection of the horse and then formats an email and forwards it to Inglis Bloodstock Staff.
