WHAT IS THE INGLIS RACE SERIES?
It is a Race Series for yearlings offered (sold or passed in) exclusively through the Inglis Yearling Sales. The series is for two, three and four-year-olds with races held in VIC, NSW and ACT.
2016 Inglis Yearling Graduates (2YOs from 1 August 2016) Series: Commences in October 2016 and concludes September 2018.
2017 Inglis Yearling Graduates (2YOs from 1 August 2017) Series: Commences in October 2017.
2018 Inglis Yearling Graduates (2YOs from 1 August 2018) Series: Commences in October 2018 and concludes September 2020.
WHAT IS AN INGLIS BONUS RACE?
An Inglis Bonus Race is a race with Inglis Bonus Prizemoney placed upon it.
Should the winner be nominated and eligible for the Inglis Race Series, winning connections (owner/trainer/jockey) will receive Inglis Bonus Prizemoney in addition to first place prizemoney and any additional bonuses should they apply.
Bonuses are paid as part of the prizemoney payment from the relevant Principal Racing Authority (Racing Victoria or Racing New South Wales), and are counted in the horse's career prizemoney earnings.
WHAT IS THE INGLIS TRAINERS BONUS?
Trainers Bonus table. $50,000 is awarded to the trainer with the most wins in each Inglis Graduate Race Series. This is the equivalent of a trainer's prizemoney percentage for training nearly 12 Saturday metropolitan winners.
