The facility will features more than 800 stables re-using the magnificent hardwood from the Newmarket stables.
There is extensive parade space for horses on both rubberised bitumen and synthetic turf, a highlight being more than double the amount of parade per horse than was available in Randwick.
Permanent hospitality suites for vendors will help to entertain buyers leading up and during the sales in style and air conditioned comfort.
There are 10 suites around the grounds that can accommodate 50 guests each in sit down dining mode, each suite can also be divided in half.

The new hotel is ran by Accor Hotels, the largest hotel operator in the Asia Pacific. Construction of the new $110m precinct, adjacent to the Warwick Farm racecourse, was completed in December 2017.
Facilities
Each of the 144 hotel rooms - including 22 large suites - have their own name and theme, based on one of the many champion racehorses sold through an Inglis sale ring.
There is a range of hospitality facilities to service our new and existing customers at the hotel including a paddock to plate style restaurant and gardens named Newmarket Room, a ring-side bar and the Heroic Café in the lobby.
There is a spectacular rooftop bar and pool deck, known as the Chiltern Pool Deck & Bar, overlooking the racecourse and stable precinct, with sweeping views of the Georges River and Chipping Norton Lake. Also on the rooftop is a wellness centre and day spa to pamper our clients during sales and hotel customers throughout the year, plus a fully equipped gym overlooking the grounds.
There is an extensive range of conferencing facilities available which include The Grand Armee Meeting Room and the Gallery as well as the Inglis Sales Arena which adjoins the hotel.
Overlooking the sales arena, on The Gallery, is nine corporate suites for VIPs to dine and bid in private with access to a mezzanine bar, the 1867 Lounge.
The pre-parade ring adjoining the sales arena honours the company's heritage, with two large metallic fig tree sculptures that provide shelter and character to the facility. Either side of the hotel is two Moreton Bay fig trees, which have been grown from saplings of the famous Newmarket Fig Tree over many years in readiness for the relocation.
Is there 24-hour security?
Yes. From the moment horses arrive onsite and throughout the entire sale period, there is 24-hour security across the precinct.
Are there vet facilities at Warwick Farm?
Yes. Two dedicated veterinary treatment areas will be available onsite.
How many boxes will be available?
There are 850 boxes available. One stable, known as The Big Barn, is designed in a more traditional style and will also be used for weddings and events outside of sale season.
What are the parade areas made of?
There are three types of parade surfaces used across the 11 stable barns: synthetic grass, bitumen, and crushed granite.

Is there a laundry available to use?
Yes. Coin-operated machines are located in the Machinery Shed at the back of the complex for vendors and staff. There are also local laundry services available — please contact Hotel Reception for assistance.
Is there Wi-Fi on the complex?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire complex. No password is required.
Is there an ATM at the hotel?
Yes, there is an ATM located in the foyer of the 1867 Lounge.
Where are the toilets located?
Toilets are available in the hotel lobby, the Sales Arena, and at the rear of every stable block.
Where is the disabled access?
Disabled access is via the hotel lobby, providing access to the Sales Arena and the stabling precinct.

What are the smoking rules at the complex?
The entire Riverside Stables complex is a smoke-free zone. Designated smoking areas are located on the outskirts of the complex — one in the front car park, and another in the truck car park near the service entry.
Where can I get a coffee?
The Heroic Café, located in the foyer of The William Inglis Hotel, is open seven days a week.
What are the dining options on sale day?
All hotel dining outlets will be open. Additional dining will be available in the Sales Arena and the stabling precinct.
What facilities are there for staff to get food in the stables area?
Along with the full-service Newmarket Room restaurant, a number of pop-up food outlets will be available throughout the grounds.
What are the opening hours of the Newmarket Room restaurant?
The Newmarket Room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — from 8am until late.
How many parking spaces will be available?
Over 800 car parking spaces are available onsite, with additional parking accessible via the ATC carpark.
Is there a bus service to and from the sales?

How can I get a taxi or Uber?
Please visit Hotel Reception for assistance. A taxi rank is located in the main driveway. On busy days, taxis will be readily available. For Uber pickups, order your ride to the hotel and meet it at the roundabout at the main entrance, outside reception.
How long does it take to get to the city from Riverside Stables?
Travel time to the city ranges from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
