X-Ray Repository

Inglis has launched a new Repository service at https://repository.inglis.com.au. This purpose-built platform replaces Asteris from the 2026 Inglis Digital September (Late) Online Sale and the 2026 Inglis Ready2Race Sale onwards. Built by Inglis in response to extensive feedback over a number of years, it works in your internet browser, on desktop and iPad, with no software installation necessary. One login covers Inglis platforms: if you already have an Inglis Digital account, sign in with the same email and password.

Why Inglis built its own Repository

• Control of your data — veterinary records, viewing activity and vendor reporting sit with Inglis, not a third party.
• One Inglis account — a single login across Inglis platforms, managed by Inglis end to end.
• Data stays in Australia — the platform and everything it holds — imagery, records, activity — is hosted in the Sydney AWS region, under Australian jurisdiction.

Ready2Race Breeze Up Dates

X-rays for the Ready2Race Sale can only be taken and submitted after each individual lot has breezed.

Registering

• The Repository is only available to qualified veterinarians.
• Go to repository.inglis.com.au and sign in with your Inglis Digital login, or click Sign up to register.
• Register with your practice email address — it is how the Repository recognises you and links the details Inglis already holds.
• On your first login, review and confirm your details. Once your profile is complete you can submit material for your own clients immediately.
• To view material submitted by other practices, request viewing access from your dashboard. Requests are reviewed and approved by Inglis.
• A test sale is loaded in the Repository so you can trial viewing X-rays, scopes and reports before the sale.

X-Ray Submission

• X-rays must be taken within 42 days of the commencement of a sale.
• X-rays for Ready2Race horses can only be taken and submitted after that individual lot has breezed (see breeze up dates above).
• Sign in at repository.inglis.com.au, open the sale, select the lot and upload the DICOM files.
• X-rays are automatically matched to the standard set of named views, and you will be warned if the set appears incomplete, if images are older than 42 days, or if the files do not appear to match the selected lot.
• Individual views can be replaced later without re-uploading the whole set. You will be asked to confirm exactly which views are being replaced. 

Viewing X-Rays

• Sign in at repository.inglis.com.au and open the sale you wish to view. Viewing requires Inglis-approved viewing access (see Registering above).
• X-rays open in the built-in viewer: side-by-side views, measurement tools, window/level presets and full keyboard control. No software installation is required.
• Forgot your password? Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page.
• Once a lot is sold, its material is no longer available for viewing in accordance with the Conditions of Sale.

Client Nomination and Viewing History

• Before viewing repository submissions for any lot, you will be asked to identify the client or clients you are inspecting that lot for.
• Enter the name of your client. You can select a matching suggestion or type the name directly if no match appears. Suggestions are based on the past five years of public published buyers' names.
• You can view and export your viewing history at any time, to help prepare client invoices and maintain your billing records.

Endoscope Submission & Viewing

• To be eligible for submission into the Inglis Repository all endoscopic videos must be taken on sale grounds prior to the commencement of the sale unless authorised by Inglis.
• Endoscopic videos must be submitted in mp4 format — sign in, open the sale, select the lot and upload the video.
• Videos play directly in the Repository — no separate media player is required. The built-in player supports play/pause, frame-by-frame stepping (left and right arrow keys) and full-screen viewing.

Veterinary Reports

• Veterinary reports are submitted in PDF format through the same upload panel as X-rays and videos.
• You must view the reports before you can view the X-rays or scopes.

Inglis Digital

• Accession numbers for an Inglis Digital Online Sale must begin with the relevant year (e.g. 2026 would be 26) followed by the corresponding month (e.g. January is 01, February is 02 etc) and either A denoting an Early sale or B denoting a Late sale.
• For example, the accession number for the 2026 January Online Sale (Early) is 2601A, whilst the accession number for the 2026 January Online Sale (Late) is 2601B.
• Lot numbers must be included with accession numbers for Inglis Repository submissions. For example, the accession number for Lot 1 in the 2026 January Online Sale (Early) would be 2601A-0001.
• Lot numbers are only available once a sale goes live on the Inglis Digital website, and hence submissions into the Inglis Repository can only be made once this occurs.
• Any submissions into the Inglis Repository must include all necessary information (e.g. date, time-stamp, corresponding vet etc).

System Requirements

• The Repository works in any current browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox — on desktop and iPad. No software installation or plug-ins are required.
• For diagnostic-quality reading, a desktop or laptop with a suitable display is recommended.
