$100,000 3yo Inglis Trophy added to the Inglis Race Series

Inglis & Sale Turf Club have combined to add a $100,000 race to the Inglis Race Series. The new INGLIS TROPHY (handicap rating 0-82) for three-year-olds to be run over 1400m on Sale Cup Day, 25 October in 2009, is an extra windfall for all horses entered in the Inglis Race Series.

“It is great to see the Sale Turf Club get involved with the Inglis Race Series, with the new Inglis graduate only race to provide trainers with a lucrative option during the Victorian Spring Carnival for their nominated Inglis graduates” said Inglis Melbourne Director Peter Heagney.

Upcoming races and bonuses of the Inglis Race Series include:- $100,000 3YO bonus – Rosehill, 1st August 2009 $50,000 3YO bonus – Seymour, 23rd August 2009 $100,000 3YO bonus – Flemington – 5th September 2009 $100,000 3YO bonus – Randwick – 17th October 2009 $100,000 3YO INGLIS TROPHY – Sale – 25th October 2009

The current prizemoney pool for the 2010 INGLIS GUINEAS to be run in May 2010 on Scone Cup Day stands at over $550,000. Any bonuses not won throughout the remainder of the year will continue to jackpot into this race.
