$25K Yearling Lands $100,000 Bonus

The perfect record of Inglis Race Series bonuses going off this season continued at Randwick today when bargain buy All Legal took out the Inglis Bonus Handicap (1600m).

In addition to the $42,000 first prize, ALL LEGAL (3g Al Maher-Azardi) also picked up the $100,000 bonus as part of the inaugural $2.5m Inglis Race Series.

The $142,000 booty is a nice return on the $25,000 trainer Kevin Moses gave for the horse out of the Lyndhurst Stud draft at last year's Sydney Classic Sale and All Legal is now the winner of more than $200,000.

He follows Hus Der Lieften and Carrara as 3yo $100,000 bonus winners this season, along with the Mike Moroney trained Sophrosyne, who carried off a $50,000 bonus at Seymour in August.

The first opportunity for 2009 graduates to secure an Inglis Race Series bonus comes up at Moonee Valley next Saturday, with the running of the $250,000 Inglis Juvenile (1000m). Entries close on Monday for this race.

This race was won last year by Choisir's son Starspangledbanner, who trained on to win this year's Caulfield Guineas.

The three-year-olds also get their chance next week, with the $100,000 Sale Inglis Trophy, with entries closing on Tuesday.
