37 Extras Rushed Into VOBIS Gold

37 supplementary entries have been rushed into the catalogue for the Inglis VOBIS Gold Yearling Sale to be held on 19 and 20 April 2015.

A total of 362 yearlings are now set to be presented at the two day sale which has offered some great buying since its introduction to the Inglis Select Yearling Sales Series in 2013.

“This week’s announcement of international players Spendthrift Farm setting up their Australian base in Victoria is a tremendous endorsement for the positive direction of the Victorian breeding industry, of which VOBIS Gold is a valuable component,” said Inglis Melbourne Director Peter Heagney.

“Fast Cash and The Big Dance are two great examples of the excellent returns available to trainers and owners of VOBIS Gold horses purchased from this sale,” pointed out Heagney.

$10,000 purchase Fast Cash won the $150,000 3YO VOBIS Gold Carat at Moonee Valley earlier this year, while $750 buy The Big Dance saluted to the roar of its owners in the $250,000 2YO VOBIS Gold Rush on debut at Bendigo last month.

All 260 lots in the Select Session of the 2015 VOBIS Gold Sale are Super VOBIS nominated and will be sold from 12noon on 19 April and from 11am on 20 April. The Select Session will be followed by the General and Supplementary Sessions on the final day of the auction.

There is over $19 million in prize money and bonuses available to breeders and owners of Victorian horses under the Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold schemes.
