A chance at share luck starts right here

Herald Sun - Rod Nicholson - Sunday, 3 February 2013

Fancy a free hit at the chance to own a share in the next Black Caviar?

Here’s your opportunity with the seventh edition of the Sunday Herald Sun/ Inglis Win a Share in a Racehorse competition.

The lucky winner will enjoy a 10 per cent share of a yearling to the value of $100,000 from next month’s Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sales at Oaklands Junction, to be trained by one of Victoria’s leading trainers — with all training fees and insurance covered for two years.

Entrants will also receive a two-for-one general admission ticket to attend one of the Melbourne Festival of Racing’s four major meetings.

All you need to do when entering is choose your preference for a two-for-one deal at the Alister Clark Stakes at Moonee Valley on March 15, Bendigo’s Golden Mile meeting on March 16, Caulfield’s Thoroughbred Club Cup on March 23 or Flemington’s Anzac Day meeting on April 25.

The three metropolitan clubs and Bendigo, with support from the Victorian Government, have joined the Sunday Herald Sun to help promote this competition.

The winning entry will be announced at the Inglis Open Day at Oaklands Junction on February 26.

Geelong’s Russell Artis drew a 10 per cent share of Set For Fame, who won twice at Group 2 level among her five wins from 18 starts for $647,775 in prizemoney.

She was trained by Peter Moody before going to stud.

Only those entering via the heraldsun.com.au website can take part in the two-for-one race meeting offer.
