Danehill Dancer’s Group 1 VRC Oaks winner Arapaho Miss heads an impressive list of early supplementary entries for next month’s Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale, which already boasts over 60 stakes winners.
The Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will be held at Newmarket over three sessions from April 14-16.
Arapaho Miss will be offered as both a racing and breeding prospect and she is set to race prior to the sale on April 4 at Caulfield.
Other supplementaries to date include Street Cry’s Black Opal (LR) winner Sarthemare and the stakes winning Bellotto mare Zipanese, who in turn is a full-sister to the G1 winner Zip Zip Aray.
US stakes winner Paris Return, who was also a winner in Australia, was retired to stud last spring and is being offered in foal to Choisir.
Fleureel, a full-sister to Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel and the dam of stakes winning Rasmussen, is being offered in foal to red hot Vinery stallion Red Ransom.
Supplementary entries for the Easter Broodmare Sale close next Friday, April 3, with stakes winners off the track or in foal for the first time, along with dams of stakes winners eligible for nomination.
Vendors with potential mares should contact Inglis for inclusion. Perfect Drop, who was Group One Placed over the Autumn Racing Carnival last year, fetched $725,000 for her connections when supplemented late to the 2008 Easter Broodmare Sale.
Nominations are now also being taken for The Australian Weanling and Breeding Stock Sale, which will be held over three sessions at Newmarket on June 25, 26 and 28.
Held for the first time in 2008, this sale provided vendors with outstanding results, highlighted by the Southern Hemisphere record price of $5million for Milanova.
The sale also saw weanlings sell up to $625,000.
Nominations for this sale close on May 1 and entry forms can be downloaded HERE
