Australian Easter Broodmare Sale Begins Tuesday

The Australian Easter Broodmare Sale begins in Sydney next Tuesday, April 14, and the outstanding Supplementary Catalogue, highlighted by Samantha Miss’ inclusion, is now online.

Running over three consecutive days, selling begins from 10.30am, starting with the Select session, which runs over the three days and includes 587 lots plus the supplementary entries, which will follow immediately prior to the General session.

In all, this year’s Broodmare catalogue boasts 65 stakes winning dams and siblings to 100 Group 1 winners. The covering sires include all of Australasia’s leading proven and young commercial sires.

Australia’s Champion filly Samantha Miss (Redoute’s Choice) has been catalogued as Lot 677 as part of the supplementary catalogue to be sold after lot 587.

The supplementary entries also include Fleureel, the full-sister to Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel, US stakes winner Paris Return, Australian stakes winners Sarthermare and Zipanese and Royal Academy’s G3 placed full-sister to G2 winner Phoenix Park, Interfere.

Vinery Stud are offering the beautifully-related Northern Hemisphere bred mares Eshaarat (GB) (by Zafonic) and Gilded Minstrel (USA) (by Gilded Time) in foal to Lonhro and Bernardini respectively.

Other highlights include the Group 1 winners Devil Moon, Starstruck, La Montagna and Kirby’s Song, the latter a Champion 3yo in Canada.

Recent stakes winner Belong To Many has been catalogued as Lot 176 and can further enhance her record in this Saturday’s G2 Sapphire Stakes.

Other Group 2 winners include Dynamic Love, Fatal Attraction, Flowerdrum, Flushed, Only Glory, Prefer An Angel, Yakama and Ascorbic.
