Bell View Park To Disperse Broodmares In Sydney

In another exciting addition to the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale, prolific thoroughbred nursery Bell View Park have announced the unreserved dispersal of their 25 in-foal broodmares at Newmarket in the first week of May.

“We’ve put a lot of thought into these matings, and we are confident we are offering a premium product in foal to some really exciting young stallions,” said Bell View Park Business Manager Adam Mackrell.

“We mated the mares carefully to suit them both physically and on pedigree, and the early coverings will help deliver nice early foals that are saleable and have every chance of hitting the track early.

“All the mares are on the younger end of the spectrum with bright futures, with many that have some exciting youngsters with Australia’s top trainers. There is a wide selection of mares to suit each buyer, and we are delighted to be offering them at Inglis’ Broodmare Sale,” Mackrell said.

The elite group of mares have been covered by some of Australia’s hottest sires, with proven stallions Sebring, I Am Invincible, Hinchinbrook and Smart Missile represented in-utero, alongside young commercial sires Brazen Beau, Wandjina, Foxwedge, Dissident, Zoustar, Sepoy, Eurozone, Shooting To Win, Epaulette, Sizzling, Deep Field and Rubick.

Among the 25 mares are the Group 1-placed Raid from the family of Stratum Star and Serenade; Group 1 winner Barinka; Sun Maid, from the family of Sacred Kingdom and Jabali, which is carrying a three-quarter relation to her Group 1-placed son Equator; Certitude, a city-winning daughter of Not A Single Doubt from the family of Bondeiger; Arctic Dream, a half-sister to Hallowell Belle and Fuddle Dee Duddle; and Redeeming Lass, dam of Tasmanian Oaks runner-up Sweet Redemption.

“The catalogue for the 2016 Inglis Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale in early May is shaping up very well and we welcome all vendors to contact myself and Inglis’ Bloodstock team to discuss achieving the best result for your weanlings and mares,” added D’Arcy.
