Brother Patrick to push towards Inglis Guineas

RECENT Randwick winner Brother Patrick is the horse Paul Messara will push towards the $770,000 Inglis Guineas (1600m) at Scone in May.

"I think he will be ideally suited to a race like that and the fact it is on his home track makes it even more enticing." Messara said.

Brother Patrick (pictured), a $180,000 yearling at the Melbourne Premier Sale, has raced only three times, for a third at Rosehill and wins at Newcastle and Randwick.

Meanwhile, Darley has again signed up to sponsor the maiden race on Scone Cup Day, which will carry total prizemoney of $1.2 million across the eight race card.
