Is your purchase paid up for the 2007 $500,000 Inglis Classic race?

Nominations for next year’s event close tomorrow.

The cut-off deadline will be strictly enforced so to avoid disappointment ensure a completed nomination form, accompanied by the $1,430 fee, is lodged with William Inglis & Son before 5pm, Friday, 24 March 2006.

The 1200m event will be run in Sydney on Saturday, 10 February, 2007 - the eve of the Classic Yearling Sale.

Newcastle trainer Kris Lees landed first and third in this year’s race, having bought just three yearlings at the 2005 sale through respected agent Kieran Moore.

ABSOLUTELYFABULOUS (2005 Classic $45,000) danced home to victory for owners Tim Worner and David Fitzgerald’s Indian Pacific Bloodstock Syndicate and Judy Wanless, while her stablemate BONCOEUR (2005 Classic $30,000) was a close up third behind Graeme Rogerson’s LUVULEO (2005 Classic $100,000).
