All is in readiness for the biggest ever Classic Yearling Sale, with inspections to begin at Riverside Stables from Monday.

Graduates of the Classic Sale continue to shine on the track.

Of all Australasian yearling sales, only the Easter Yearling Sale produced more Australian Group 1 winners in 2018.

The 2019 Classic Yearling Sale will take place at Riverside Stables from February 9-14, beginning next Saturday night at 6pm following the inaugural Inglis Millennium Race Day at Warwick Farm.

A total of 1013 horses – 808 in Book 1 and 205 in the Highway Session (Book 2) – are catalogued for the five days of selling of February 9,10,11,12 and 14.

Wednesday February 13 will be a Highway Race Day at Warwick Farm featuring two Highway Handicaps – one for Country-trained horses and one for Provincial-trained horses.

If the winner of either race is an eligible Inglis graduate (paid up for the current or a former Inglis Race Series), the winning trainer will receive a $50,000 credit voucher to spend at the Highway Session the following day.

And for the first time, yearlings purchased in the Highway Session will also be eligible for the $100,000 Inglis Challenge 2YO race in Scone in 2020.
