Runaway Rosehill winner Saramenha has given young sire Snitzel an excellent start with his second crop of runners.

She is the first winner from Snitzel's second crop conceived at Arrowfield Stud.

There are 17 winners from his initial southern crop including G2 STC Silver Slipper winner Chance Bye (pictured) and he also has seven juvenile winners this year from a reverse shuttle season at Japan's Shadai Stud in 2007.

Saramenha (Snitzel - Speedy Topaze by Woodman) is a half-sister to six winners including G3 Singapore Stewards Cup winner In Bloom (Brocco). Their dam is a half-sister to G1 French 2000 Guineas winner Fast Topaze (Far North).

Saramenha was purchased by Darby Bloodstock for $70,000 at the 2010 Inglis Premier yearling sale from Bellerive Stud.

Trainer Gerald Ryan will keep Saramenha in work for at least one more start after she scored a six length victory at Rosehill last Saturday.

Meanwhile Arrowfield's accomplished sire Flying Spur has one of Perth's top three-year-olds following the win of Hoegaarden in the Listed Fairetha Stakes at Ascot last Saturday.

Trained by renowned Ascot horseman Joe Byrne, Hoegaarden got home to beat Playing God and View the Stars in a trifecta finish for Magic Millions sale graduates.

The Flying Spur gelding went into the race a maiden after two placings from as many starts.

Byrne trains the gelding for Singapore based client Ong Tiong Seng.

The two took a shine to Hoegaarden at last year's Gold Coast Yearling Sale and went to $100,000 to buy him from the draft of Baerami Thoroughbreds.

Hoegaarden is one of two winners produced by the three time winning and stakes performer Integra mare Inspect.

Inspect, who won all her three races on Sydney tracks over 1800 and 2000 metres, is a full sister to former crack galloper Intergaze.

Intergaze won 12 races - eight at Group One level - and earned over $3.76 million during an illustrious career.
