With the inclusion of Hussonet (pictured) and Dalakhani breeders across Southern Australia are fortunate to be able to access some of the best bloodlines in the world.

"We are proud to be offering our clients the leading active sire of G1 winners in Australia (Hussonet) along with the flagship stallion of the Aga Khan Studs in Dalakhani,” said Cornerstone Stud's Sam Hayes.

"Our strategy has been to source proven stallions that breeders can support with confidence,” Hayes explained.

HUSSONET'S statistics as a leading broodmare sire along with the performance of his son's at stud including Host, Husson, Husson Lightning and Reaan is proving to be a major attraction for breeders. Demand for his yearlings has also picked up throughout Asia with feature race wins from the likes of Glorious Days in Hong Kong and Stepitup in Singapore.

The number of bookings to DALAKHANI following the announcement last week is testament to the fact that local breeders would like to see more Australian bred horses competing in our feature races. Also lining up alongside Hussonet and Dalakhani are the proven sires of recent Group One winners Happy Trails (by GOOD JOURNEY(above) ) and Moment of Change (by BARELY A MOMENT (below)).

"At under $10,000 we are confident that Good Journey will prove to be one of the best value sires in Australasia this season. So many of his current crop of 3YO's are proving to have above average ability,” Hayes commented.

REAAN (pictured) has had a good number of exciting 2YO's in his first crop of racing age such as Magic Millions Clockwise Classic winner I'm Too Sexy and the stakes placed Lannister. His yearlings have sold for up to $160,000 this year.

Group One Rosehill Guineas winner DE BEERS will stand for a reduced fee of $3,300 inc. GST. Being able to access a Group One winning stallion from the famous Eight Carat family at this price represents fantastic value for breeders.

Following a very successful first season last year, the 2013 breeding season will see SHREWD RHYTHM and FACE VALUE continue their duties while standing in partnership with Stable Hill Thoroughbreds at Oakbank, South Australia.

Face Value has enjoyed good recent success as the sire of dual stakes winner Hidden Value, his fee for 2013 will be advertised at $2,750 inc. GST. Shrewd Rhythm has had his fee set at $3,850 inc. GST.
