Sepoy was in a league of his own in today’s Blue Diamond Stakes, but the Oaklands graduates that filled the placings behind him added two very important Group 1 pedigree updates for next week’s Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

HALLOWELL BELLE ($170,000 2010 Premier, 2f Starcraft-Bella Inez) ran home solidly to grab second in the Diamond.

Three Bridges Thoroughbreds have a Red Ransom half-sister entered as LOT 420 at Premier.

MASTHEAD ($65,000 2010 Premier, 2c Written Tycoon-Balsamico), a recent winner of the $250,000 Inglis Premier, also caught the eye in getting up to run third.

Lindsay Park Stud have a Good Journey half-sister as LOT 414 at Premier.

MONTANA FLYER (Flying Spur-Montana Downs) – WON Group 3 Millie Fox Torryburn Stud have an Elusive Quality half-brother nominated as LOT 360 at Easter. Torryburn will also offer a Shamardal filly from Montana Downs’ G2 placed daughter Montana Sunset (More Than Ready) as LOT 361 at Easter.

AIN’TNOFALLENSTAR (Starcraft-Ain’t Seen Nothin’) – WON Listed Nitschke Stakes Bellerive Stud will offer a Hussonet half-brother as LOT 379 at Premier.

SAYAHAILMARY (Keep The Faith-Danish Moon) – 2nd in Group 2 Angus Armanasco Stakes Fulmen Park have a half-brother by HOST catalogued as LOT 496 at next week’s Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

ELITE FALLS (More Than Ready-Niagara Falls) – 2nd in Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes Turangga Farm have a Haradasun half-sister as LOT 373 at Easter.

ADDICTION TO ROCK (Rock Of Gibraltar-Bellediction) – 3rd Listed Nitschke Stakes Willows Thoroughbred farm will offer a Haradasun half-brother as LOT 422 at Premier.

OBSIDIAN DRAGON (Hidden Dragon-Aradina) – 3rd Listed Redelva Stakes Swettenham Stud have a full-sister as LOT 237 at the Melbourne Autumn Yearling Sale (April 17-18 at Oaklands)

WARPATH (Reset-Only Vanda) – WON 3rd successive Sydney event at Rosehill Willow Park Stud have a Charge Forward half-brother as LOT 385 at Easter.

The 2011 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale begins Monday and runs over four sessions. An open day has been scheduled for tomorrow.

The 2011 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale will be held from April 5-7 at Newmarket, Sydney.
