At this sale last year, Samantha Miss became the highest priced thoroughbred sold at auction in the world during 2009 when selling for $3,850,000 – a new Easter record.
Already this year’s catalogue has attracted young mares with impeccable credentials, including Champions, Group One winners and stakes winners either being sold in foal or as breeding and racing prospects.
“Entries are shaping up very well again this year and Australia’s biggest breeders will be represented in the catalogue,” Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster said.
“The timing of this sale is ideal, being built around the Sydney Autumn Carnival and following the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, which attracts leading buyers from around the World.”
The 2010 Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will be held from April 13-15.
