Easter Broodmare supplementary entries are online

Supplementary entries have taken the catalogue for next week’s Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale up to 577 lots. The three day sale will be conducted at Newmarket in Sydney on 16, 17 and 18 April 2013.

The full catalogue is available online at www.inglis.com.au and on the Inglis Sales iPad App.

Lots 1 to 200 and Lots 558 to 565 lots will be offered during the Super Select Session on the opening day of the sale.

Wednesday April 17 comprises 200 of the Select Session mares; Lots 201 to 400

The sale concludes on Thursday April 18 with the remaining 80 Select Session mares (Lots 401 to 480) followed by the 89 General Session mares; Lots 481 to 557 and Lots 566 to 577

Significant dispersals from Michael Pitt and Orange Grove will be spread across both the Super Select and Select Sessions.

Major breeding operations Arrowfield Stud, Coolmore Stud, Darley, Vinery Stud, Widden Stud and Yarraman Park Stud will be bringing large drafts to the sale. Cressfield, Eliza Park, Glastonbury Farms, Makybe, Newgate Farm and Turranga Farm also have significant Super Select Session drafts amongst their offerings.

The dams of Group 1 winners Mirjulisa Lass, Zipping, Eremein and Pear Tart are all set to go under the hammer, plus the dams of stakes winners such as Member’s Joy and Soft Sand.

Young Group 1 winning mares Cinque Cento, Dizelle and Juice will be offered for sale, as will stakes winners such as Expensive, Rosa’s Spur, Status Symbol, Bianca, Eramor, Prima Nova, Booklet, Sophie’s Spirit and Tai Tai Tess.

Black Caviar’s dam Helsinge was purchased from the Easter Broodmare Sale as a sibling to a stakes winner, just as over 230 fillies and mares are catalogued this year.

Many of next week’s offerings are being sold in-foal to proven and exciting young sires, including Choisir, Commands, Denman, Encosta de Lago, Exceed And Excel, Fastnet Rock, Flying Spur, High Chaparral, Lonhro, More Than Ready, Mossman, New Approach, Not A Single Doubt, Redoute’s Choice, Sebring, Snitzel, So You Think, Star Witness, Stratum, Stryker and Wanted.

There is a top selection of mares in foal to a great line-up of first season sires such as Canford Cliffs, Dream Ahead, Foxwedge, Gio Ponti, Helmet, Pluck, Poet’s Voice, Pour Moi, Sepoy, Smart Missile, So You Think, Toorak Toff, Uncle Mo and Zoffany.

All three days of this year’s Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will commence at 10:30am.

The 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale will be broadcast on InglisTV, with Online Bidding and Make-An-Offer available for those buyers unable to attend the Newmarket complex during the sale.
