EASTER CATALOGUE ONLINE - INTERNATIONAL SUBSIDY AVAILABLE

The 2007 William Inglis & Son Australian Easter Yearling Sale catalogue has been assembled and is due for release next week. For those wanting to peruse the pedigrees of the 588 superbly bred and conformed yearlings, it is now available on line at www.inglis.com.au.

The catalogue features 96 more yearlings than 2006 and is highlighted by a staggering 74 yearlings by Champion Sire and perennial stakes-getter Redoute’s Choice.

William Inglis & Son will fund an International Buyers Subsidy to assist international buyers with their purchases. This initiative is calculated on the basis of spend and distance travelled starting at purchases of AUD$50,000 (US$40,000). Australasian racehorses STARCRAFT,ELVSTROEM, CHOISIR, TAKEOVER TARGET FLORAL PEGASUS, ALINGHI and SILENT WITNESS have all performed on the international stage with distinction over recent years, highlighting that the Australasian marketplace can offer international buyers the opportunity to purchase bloodstock of the highest calibre.

FLORAL PEGASUS , PERFECTLY READY , NADEEM , MISS FINLAND and SERENADE ROSE , all Group One winners from the 05/06 racing season, were either purchased or are in the ownership of international interests from Hong Kong, United Kingdom, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates. They are all Inglis graduates with the latter three purchased by leading international agents Angus Gold, Grant Pritchard-Gordon and Adrian Nicoll, respectively.

Another prime example of the international success by Australasian gallopers are through the deeds of the Tony Noonan trained pair, BENEDETTI and SMART AND MIGHTY , who both won their respective events in Dubai last week.

The majority of these racehorses are Inglis graduates and are also by shuttle sires. The exchange rate and Australian market allows overseas buyers the opportunity to purchase yearlings at a fraction of northern hemisphere prices.
