Easter Yearling Sale To Stream Live Online

William Inglis & Son have teamed up with AAP Racing and Sports to present live online video streaming of the Australian Easter Yearling Sale accessible through both company’s’ websites.

By logging-on to AAP Racing and Sports Breeding homepage at www.aapracingandsports.com.au/breeding and clicking on the hyperlink in the Inglis Easter Sale feature area, sale watchers will be able to view and listen to all the action from the Newmarket sale ring live online.

Users of the Inglis website can access the same service, which is set to operate alongside the long-established audio stream and running sale monitor facilities. Broadcasting will commence with selling at 10.30am E.S.T. on Tuesday, April 18.

EASTER COUNTDOWN

Robyn Wise is a familiar face to many on the sale circuit having worked for the leading nurseries Emirates Park and Eliza Park Stud, however this year sees the vivacious Queenslander present her first draft at Easter in her own right.

Wise is consigning two yearlings under the moniker Robyn Wise as agent and on Wednesday afternoon the pair were going great guns; attracting plenty of interest from the early lookers on the grounds.

Especially eyecatching is lot 199, a Rock Of Gibraltar filly out of the winning Luskin Star mare Best Effort, already dam of the dual stakes-winner Allez France.

“She’s a lot of her father in her,” says Wise. “There’s a real quality about her, I love her.”

The racy bay filly is due through the ring in Tuesday’s opening session. On Wednesday evening Wise sells an Anabaa filly out of the unraced Statoblast mare Diamond Jewel as lot 267. Diamond Jewel is a half-sister to the VRC Oaks winner Diamond Shower, out of the high-class racemare Jewel Flight. Wise describes the September born bay as a likely early type, strong and well-grown.
