Sirecam - Press Release - Friday, 3 April 2009
With the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale only a few days away from the commencement of bidding, astute buyers worldwide have been diligently completing their homework on-line at www.sirecam.com.
As of this morning, yearlings filmed by SIRECAM had received over 81,500 viewings from all over the world with an impressive average of 248 viewings per horse.
Sirecam CEO Simon Burgess said, “We’re delighted to see so many people using the product, particularly from all over the world and I’m sure it will reflect in the sales ring. Last year at the Easter Sale, horses filmed by Sirecam returned an average price $134k higher than horses that weren’t filmed and delivered a 4% higher clearance rate, so the rewards for the Vendors and Inglis were very satisfying. What’s really amazing is that historically, the bulk of viewings take place in the 48 hour period prior to the commencement of the sale!”
It would come as no surprise that the most viewed lot online has been lot 90 from Tony Santics’ Makybe draft, the impressive colt by Galileo out of Makybe Diva has so far received a staggering 3,924 viewings. Click here to view
