Entries Closing For Inglis Equine Art Prize 2013

Entries for the third Inglis Equine Art Prize (IEAP) will close on Sunday 30 June 2013. The IEAP has grown in stature locally and abroad and once again it will showcase the greatest thoroughbred artwork from around the globe centred on the theme, 'All Things Thoroughbred'.

Said Inglis Deputy Chairman, judge and co-creator of the IEAP, Arthur Inglis: "Entries continue to grow year on year. Last year we had over 130 entries from across the globe and we expect to see an increase on that this year."

The theme will enable artists to include paintings from a wide range of environments such as from the track, at stud, equestrian events, the sales ring and horses in retirement.

The winner will take home $15,000 worth of prizes. The judging panel comprises Arthur Inglis, Alister Simpson and Archibald Prize winner, Francis (Frank) Giacco.

Final judging will take place on the 13 August 2013 and the finalist's works will be shown across major cities and regional hubs in Australia.
