Entries Closing for Inglis Mixed Sales

This Friday, June 26 marks the closing date for entries to the Melbourne August Thoroughbred Sale and also for supplementary entries for next week’s Sydney Winter Thoroughbred Sale.

The Melbourne August Thoroughbred Sale will be held at Oaklands on August 14 and represents the last opportunity to sell tried stock in Melbourne until after the conclusion of the Spring Carnival in November.

The Sydney Winter Thoroughbred Sale will be held at Newmarket, next Friday, July 3.

The catalogue is now online and already includes 152 lots.

In addition to the racing prospects, the fillies and mares section includes progeny of a host of leading stallions.

These include Choisir, Anabaa, Danehill Dancer, Canny Lad, Fusaichi Pegasus, Show A Heart, Secret Savings, Lonhro, Carnegie, Hussonet, Commands, Danzero, Magic Albert, Exceed And Excel, Catbird, Strategic, Street Cry, Redoute’s Choice, Royal Academy, Stravinsky and More Than Ready.

The next opportunity to sell mixed bloodstock in Sydney is September 25 for the Spring Thoroughbred Sale.

The Inglis Sales series continues tomorrow at Newmarket, with the 2009 Australian Weanling & Breeding Stock Sale, with selling to commence at 11am. The sale runs over two days, with the Second session beginning from 10am on Friday.
