<p>Entries close Friday February 1 for both William Inglis & Son's March Thoroughbred Sale (14 March, Oaklands Melbourne) and Autumn Thoroughbred Sale (17 March, Newmarket Sydney). Both sales will provide the first opportunity of the new year for trade and generally attract large numbers, with the March Thoroughbred Sale having to be extended to two days in 2007. </p>
       <p>The Autumn Thoroughbred Sale (17 March, Newmarket Sydney) will herald a new era in thoroughbred sales in this part of the world as internet bidding is introduced, allowing anyone to bid online direct at auction from anywhere in the world. </p>
       <p>"In the past where interest in one or two lots in a sale may not have warranted long distance travel for a buyer to attend, this new service will enable more buyers to engage in the auction which will assist vendors by having a larger buying bench." said Inglis Managing Director Mark Webster. </p>
       <p>After registering and gaining credit approval prior to the sale, online bidders will simply go to <a href="http://www.inglis.com.au">www.inglis.com.au</a> on sale day and login to their account. Online bidders will be able to see the horse live in the ring, hear the auctioneer, access pedigree information, view sirecam video if available, monitor sale statistics and see all bids as they are made from other online bidders in addition to bids from the sales ring. To bid, they will simply need to click on the bid button. </p>
